Take a short trek to the Rainbow falls. Hiking down the dense forest, stopping by a few viewpoints, you will reach the picturesque fall. Keep your fingers crossed, if it's a sunny day you might catch a glimpse of the rainbow formed round the base of the fall. It is suggested to reach the fall between 10am to 2pm. So brace yourself for an adventurous walk and bless your eyes with another gorgeous scene of nature.

The Britishers named the Kalej Valley after the Kalij Pheasants they would see so frequently. Though they have reduced now, you can catch the sight of Rufous Sibia, Himalayan Bulbul, White Capped Water Redstart, Great Barbet, Drongo, etc. Now you know why the chirpings were so loud!
